About RebeccaAbout Rebecca

Rebecca Schneider is running for Congress because, like all of us, she is tired of watching the incumbent, Jeff Flake, constantly vote against any legislation that would help strengthen small businesses, improve our economy, protect the environment, or help those struggling during these increasingly tough times.

Born in West Virginia and growing up in a small town near Pittsburgh PA. Rebecca earned a degree in psychology, which she put to use by helping to make a difference in the community. She enlisted the help of local law enforcement to launch a project to improve relations between the police and local school districts.

Rebecca took an interest in Democratic politics and formed alliances with community leaders, faith based groups, and first responders on various projects to benefit her community.

After moving to Arizona in 2001, she has continued to work for the people in her new community. Volunteering her time with the: Make A Wish Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Dogs Deserve Better, and Anti-Violence programs. Rebecca also works with several animal rescue shelters to educate the public about adoption, spay/neuter programs and the importance of properly caring for their pets in the hot Arizona climate.

“It’s not enough to just talk about what’s wrong in the world today. To really make a difference, you have to roll up your sleeves and get involved." -- Rebecca Schneider

Rebecca’s message is simple:  Are you satisfied?????

“Are you satisfied? I’m not satisfied at all. If you elect me to Congress, I will be a pro-active voice for the people of Arizona. We have many serious challenges in our community and it’s about time someone starts doing something about them.

"In his TEN years in Congress, Rep. Flake has only sponsored 3 pieces of legislation.  Being a member of Congress should not be about personal ideology, it should be about serving the people.”

-- Rebecca Schneider
